BlueInGreen’s systems are truly ground breaking. So, naturally, you probably have questions. Here are a few of our most frequently asked questions. If you don’t see the answer you’re looking for, feel free to contact BlueInGreen or any of our representatives at any time for any additional information, and to find out how our gas delivery systems can give you the results you need.

How much oxygen can our units deliver?

Our units are available in many different sizes to match a variety of applications. Our units can deliver from 5 lbs. to many tons of oxygen per day.

How much oxygen can a trailer-mounted unit deliver?

We can deliver up to 1600 lbs. of oxygen a day at 15C. Larger demands can be met by deploying multiple trailer-mounted units or by custom building larger trailer mounted units to fit the need.

How can the SDOX® unit control odors and corrosion in collection systems?

Odors are controlled by efficiently delivering dissolved oxygen. Our technology keeps collection systems aerobic to prevent the formation of H2S and other odor-causing compounds. By using this approach, our systems address the root problem, and not just the symptoms.

Why are there no bubbles?

The supersaturated water will disperse in the water treatment area faster than the gas will come out of the solution, bringing the receiving water stream to a high dissolved oxygen concentration, but below saturation.

Do I need a separate water source to add to my treated water?

While it is possible to utilize potable water for our system, it is often preferable to pull a side-stream from the water to be treated as long as the solid content is <5%. Utilizing this method can help reduce operation costs.

Why do you use pure oxygen?

Since we have near 100% gas transfer efficiency, it is economically more efficient to pay only for the oxygen that is required while avoiding the cost of transferring nitrogen and other inert gases found in the air. By doing this, we maximize oxygen delivery while minimizing the footprint of the equipment.

Why doesn’t the gas come out of solution in the delivery piping?

We size our systems so that there is negligible pressure drop between the tank and the outlet.

What oxygen source can be used to supply the SDOX® system?

Either liquid oxygen (LOX) or an on-site oxygen generator can be used.
