BlueInGreen CEO Chris Milligan Presents at Global Solutions Summit
December 20, 2016
BlueInGreen CEO Chris Milligan presented at the Global Solutions Summit in Little Rock, Ark. last week. Every four years, the event unites hundreds of lawmakers, industry leaders and interest groups from around the world for the "Little Rock Accord," designed to harness public and private-sector financing to promote environmentally sustainable growth.
During his presentation, Milligan discussed BlueInGreen's commitment to providing safe, sustainable solutions for aeration, pH adjustment, oxidation and odor control. Designed and manufactured in the U.S., BlueInGreen's innovative, industry-leading dissolution systems deliver dissolved oxygen, carbon dioxide or ozone into water to lower treatment costs, reduce power consumption and decrease chemical usage while improving water quality.
Also at the summit were Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson, who spoke on technology’s role in solving global issues, the Club de Madrid, a coalition of more than 100 former presidents and prime ministers of democratic nations and the P80 Group Foundation, which was founded by Britain's Prince Charles to work with a collection of public pension and sovereign wealth funds.
"The Global Solutions Summit is an excellent platform for us all to be heard," Milligan said. "Because water is a global resource, it only makes sense to share our ideas with decision makers from around the world."
In 2015, the Global Cleantech Cluster Association (GCCA) named BlueInGreen the Grand Prize Winner at the Green Summit in Taipei, Taiwan. BlueInGreen was chosen out of 10,000 eligible companies as the global cleantech leader due to the company's bold strides in helping the world achieve a low-carbon economy.
