BlueInGreen's Chris Milligan Presents at Isle's NorCal Wastewater Tag Showcase
March 30, 2017
BlueInGreen CEO and President Chris Milligan, PE was selected to speak at the US NorCal Wastewater TAG Showcase in Oakland this month. The event, hosted by East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) and Isle Utilities, was designed to introduce the Technology Approval Group (TAG) concept to regional utilities and gauge interest in establishing a regular wastewater technology forum in Northern California.
BlueInGreen, provider of the world’s most efficient method of delivering dissolved oxygen, carbon dioxide and ozone into water, was one of three solution providers invited to present at the showcase. During his presentation, Milligan discussed the company’s recent success in improving and maintaining water quality in a wide variety of applications, as well as the company’s recent successes in the municipal, industrial and ecological markets.
“It was a great opportunity to meet with key industry leaders and decision makers across Northern California,” said Milligan. “TAG is a great platform for water innovation, and BlueInGreen is proud to have a voice in that conversation.”
TAG is a global innovation forum of the world’s leading water utilities. The TAG model was first launched in the UK in 2005 and has grown into an international program with over 100 active water and wastewater agency members across the globe.
TAG accelerates the market uptake of step-change technologies by engaging the industry during early and pre-commercial stages of development and by leveraging external investment from venture capital investors.
“I’d like to thank Isle for recognizing BIG’s solutions, as well as our momentum in the marketplace,” Milligan said. “We look forward to working alongside Isle to protect, improve and maintain our most valuable shared resource – water.”
