Three Key Hires Join BlueInGreen's Award-Winning Team of Water Treatment Professionals

Water treatment technology company BlueInGreen welcomes Richard Quinn, Theresa Case and Jackson Shirey to accommodate its growing momentum in the municipal and industrial markets

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (August 4, 2017) - BlueInGreen™, provider of the world's most efficient method of delivering dissolved oxygen, carbon dioxide and ozone into water, has announced the addition of three new employees to its award-winning team of water treatment professionals.

Regional Sales Manager Richard Quinn, Finance & Administrative Manager Theresa Case and Project Engineer Jackson Shirey are slated to bring their respective talents, expert training and industry experience to the BlueInGreen team beginning in early August.

“Richard, Theresa and Jackson each possess a proven track record in their fields, and we’re happy to have them on board,” said BlueInGreen CEO and President Chris Milligan, PE. “These new hires better position BlueInGreen to capitalize on our growing momentum within the public and private sectors and, most importantly, provide industry-leading solutions and service to our end users.”

Assuming the role of Regional Sales Manager is Richard K. "Dick" Quinn. With 35 years of extensive experience in the water treatment market, Quinn will work to identify strategic opportunities in the municipal and industrial sectors across the eastern United States and Canada.

Quinn has served at various regional and national sales roles for Fairfield Service Company, SSI Aeration, Siemens (formerly U.S. Filter) and Chicago Bridge & Iron (CBI). He was also the Principal and Owner of Quinn Engineering, a Michigan-based consulting firm and manufacturer’s representative for a wide variety of water treatment equipment and services.

Quinn holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Michigan and serves on the Michigan Water Environment Association’s Biosolids Committee.

“Richard is a true industry veteran,” said National Sales Manager Thomas Sichz. “He’s known for bringing unmatched expertise and integrity to every project, which naturally makes him a perfect fit for our sales team.”

Also joining BlueInGreen is Finance & Administrative Manager Theresa Case. Case will oversee high-level accounting and administrative duties in order to facilitate company growth. Prior to joining BlueInGreen, she excelled as the Accounts Payable Manager at Acumen Holdings, which operates a diverse portfolio of ecommerce sites in lifestyle and apparel brands.

Case also worked as an Invoicing Associate at Cheyenne Products - a manufacturer of responsibly-sourced home décor and furnishings. She has over 10 years of experience in tax accounting, financial consulting and corporate invoicing.

“We are very excited to have Theresa at BlueInGreen,” Milligan said. “She will be essential in organizing and overseeing our day-to-day operations. Her administrative skills will help our business stay streamlined, even as we continue to grow and evolve.”

In addition to Quinn and Case, Jackson Shirey is set to join BlueInGreen as its latest Project Engineer. Shirey will further research and develop BlueInGreen’s solutions to target more applications in more locations than ever before.

Shirey studied steam generation as an Engineering Intern at Paul Mueller Company, a global supplier of heating, cooling and storage solutions, and gained firsthand experience with process line equipment as a Manufacturing Intern at Molex, a leading global supplier of advanced electronic components and technologies.

Before joining the company as a full-time employee, Shirey worked as a Mechanical Engineer Intern for BlueInGreen, where he focused on optimizing HyDOZ® system performance within specified system parameters. A member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, he received his Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arkansas.

“We’re happy to have Jackson back at BlueInGreen,” said Director of Engineering and Product Manager Darryl Fendley, PE. “His talent and intelligence were apparent throughout his internship. There’s really no ceiling to what he can accomplish as a full-time employee on our design team.”

Founded in 2004, BlueInGreen’s solutions for aeration, pH adjustment, oxidation and odor control have been sought out by municipalities and industries across North America, winning the Water Environment Federation's (WEF) Innovative Technology Award in 2010, as well as the Global Cleantech Cluster Association’s (GCCA) Grand Prize in 2015. Most recently, the company was named a finalist for the 2017 China BlueTech Water Innovation Awards in Shanghai.

“On behalf of our entire team, we are proud to welcome Richard, Theresa and Jackson to BlueInGreen,” Milligan said. “I look forward to working with them as we continue to revolutionize the world of water treatment.”
